Virtual Workshop: Towards Better Sharing of Cultural Heritage. 2022
On 10 May 2022, Creative Commons hosted our "Towards Better Sharing of Cultural Heritage" workshop, which sought to bring together people from the world of open culture and politics. The aim of the interactive virtual workshop was to: (1) provide a brief overview of the main policy issues affecting better sharing of cultural heritage, and (2) to start a global conversation around recommendations to policymakers to address such issues. This workshop is a continuation of the newly released paper “Towards Better Sharing of Cultural Heritage — An Agenda for Copyright Reform” as we start the process of shaping the first ever CC Open Culture Guide for Policymakers.
